A Homemade Menorah

03 Dec

For the first time we are celebrating Hannukkah so this week we made our very own Menorah.

There were so many great ideas online but we chose to use glass paint and paint these little tea light jars.

The boys loved the activity.

And it was such a simple one.

They’ve actually chosen some other glass items to paint and give as gifts too.

I had printed different Hannukkah symbols to inspire the boys but between them they decided to create a rainbow effect.

I’m glad we didn’t buy one now.

This one is so much more precious.

For years to come we’ll be using our very own specially made Menorah.

I can imagine my Hubby, my boys and their wives and children sitting around this Menorah

enjoying the Festival of Lights.

Hmmm…I might need a bigger table.
