Hey I was 33 for two years running once. I was telling everyone I was 33 and then my mum sat down and did the figures and we worked out, ago later however that I was actually only 32 so I had two 33rd birthdays. It’s pretty bad when you get so old you can’t remember how old you are. 🙂

    Happy birthday, Tracey! 🙂

For YEARS I told my children I was 25. Eventually, my then-15-year-old son told me it was impossible that I was just 25. I told him that science is a marvelous tool and that anything is possible! He didn’t bite!

I even had my (6 years older) sister convinced that I was much younger than her and even younger than my younger brother! I had her believing it for a few years … finally she asked my mother who had to dig out family scrapbooks to see that I was indeed older than I was letting on! 🙂

That was 3 or 4 years ago …
    I am now 26 … or 30 … 32 …
    FINE! I’m 40, OK?? *LOL*
    I’ll be 26 in May!

HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY! And I love that new toy you have! Awesome present! Have fun with it!

I have just been looking at cameras. What type is yours?

Birthday wishes to you, hope it is a happy event. Don’t get faint blowing out the candles. (Hmm, remind me about that in September, I hit a significant decade then.)

    Best wishes

It’s a Canon (the ONLY type of camera I’ll buy…hehehe) Powershot sx30 is. On the review sites they don’t rave about this particular model but I have an earlier model in this series and loved its features. Its video camera is great and the macro is outstanding (I can point my lens face to face with a bug and get a good shot). For my purpose this new camera is great. Very much like my last camera but bigger and better. I mean just look at that zoom.

It’s not an SLR, just a compact digit. Next time round I’ll go down the Digital SLR route. I had one pre-digital days but with little ones it’s just easier for me to cart an all in one deal. It’s cheaper too. But yes there’s always going to be a different in quality but I can live with that.

WOW! I would LOVE that camera! I’m a Canon lover now that I have converted as well… I just have a little compact but it still takes pretty awesome shots. My goal is to one day own a DSLR and really get serious about photography – but with teeny little ones that is going to wait awhile!

Mine’s a compact as well. With kids I just haven’t got enough arms to be carrying SLR plus equipment with me…aside from the cost of course. So I go for a pretty good compact as a preference over SLRs for the moment. My first camera was an SLR (non-digital days) so I want to go back one day but for now my current camera is a pretty good fit. Nowadays you can get some pretty nifty compacts.

Oh is there anything other than Canon Cameas?? they’re the only real cameras that I know of. Hehehehe. I’m a devotee. I had a sony video camera once – it was a gift – and it’s been the only camera I had issues with. I also had issues with the service department. Never again. Only true cameras now. Hehehehe.
