The Gruffalo

23 Mar

Today we went to see “The Gruffalo” on stage.  It was wonderful!!

Ignore the recommended ages of  preschool to grade three.  This show was delightful for all ages.   I loved it and I’m ‘just’ outside this age range.  Hehehehe.  My 9 turning 10 year old laughed all the way through it too.

If you haven’t read the book you simply must.   It’s a great story.  The author Julia Donaldson is very talented.

And if you can get to the stage show, then you should.

So please, stop reading this post and go and book tickets.

You’ll love it!  We did!

So where do you get tickets?
With reviews like that, we need to go see it.

Hmm well that could be problematic I’ve discovered. In Queensland they are on their last days. Today and tomorrow they are in Nambour and on Monday they are in Ipswich. Hey you might be lucky to still get a ticket in Ipswich if you were keen.

I’ve just discovered that there is also a Gruffalo’s Child performance but it’s already been and gone in Queensland. I’m hoping they’ll come back next year.
