They are beauties!

I’ve also been informed that I must never cut them…ever!

What’s the purpose of them then!!

Boohoo.

You mean I have to go out into the garden to enjoy them?!

Seemingly, that’s what you do.

I’m learning a lot.

Tell the boys that cosmos make lots of flowers and if some of them go inside then they can appreciate them twice as often. Cosmos also grow really easily from seed so if they leave the flowers until the seeds appear the can collect the seeds and scatter them along the fence lines (and they’ll just grow) … a pretty result as long as dad doesn’t get the line trimmer out too often! Congrats!

I’ll tell the boys that. They’ll be eager to try it. I wouldn’t suggest sprinkling them along the fence though. Daddy would whipper snipper them. We’ll find a safer location. We want to convince him to make us a proper garden.

So they are called Cosmos are they. We didn’t know because they came in a mixed packet. Missy you are a great fountain of information. Thank you.
