Extremes – Nature and Not Nature

08 Jun

The boys and I spied a little spider’s web outside the front door and stopped to admire his handiwork.

Can you see the little fellow’s hidey-hole?

Two of his legs give him away.

While outside admiring nature we spied something we hadn’t ever seen before, nor would we have seen if we weren’t outside tormenting, I mean, observing our spider friend.

The council workers were doing some maintenance works on the street lights.  This worker had to raise and lower his bucket at every street light he came to.

Perhaps it’s a boy thing but my little men were more in awe of the council worker cleaning the lights than our little spider friend waiting for his lunch.

Sorry spider friend.

Probably a good thing though as I don’t like spiders, and I prefer they don’t want to observe them too much or too closely… for my benefit.

Sounds like such fun, but I would agree. I would rather look at the truck then a spider. 🙂
