A Common Argument…at our house

02 Oct

Hubby collects the book he’s reading with his Little Men

Wifey (that’d be me) also collects the book she’s reading with her Little Men

Hubby and Wifey each dying to know what happens next in their respective read aloud

When each realises that the other had intentions of reading aloud to their Little Men, it’s on for one and all.

Wifey: “I was going to read first”

Hubby: “I had our book on the chair ready to start before you even got your book”

Wifey: “We are right at the climax of the story”

Hubby: “But we only have a few chapters left until we finish the book”

Wifey: “I need to finish this book so we can start a new book next week”

Hubby: “I don’t get to read to them everyday like you do”

Hubby and Wifey turn to the their Little Men to see whose side they’ll take.

Beware prospective homeschooling parents:

Homeschooling can cause marital disharmony.
